The tropical climate here in

Puerto Galera

offers all year round diving opportunities with a vast diversity of marine life to see. From pygmy seahorses, frogfish, nudibranches, ghostpipe fish, shrimps, turtles, white tip sharks, and in the winter season we get visiting thresher sharks, even a manta ray to name but just a small selection of sea life.

The coral reefs

surrounding Puerto Galera are healthy with a wide selection of hard and soft corals, barrel sponges, fans, walls and boulders, channels and gullies, all with an amazing selection of colours. Easy hang out dives, mild and strong drift dives, wreck dives, night dives. With so much diversity here, there are diving opportunities for every scuba diver.

we keep all dive teams small, our professional and experienced divemasters or instructors will guide you to all the dive sites, and show you all the special sealife. All dive sites around Puerto Galera are a 5 to 15 minute boat ride direct from the dive center at the beach. All you have to do is board the boat, relax, and dive. We’ll do the rest, taking care of you, and your equipment. ENJOY

DIVING TRIPS

can start from 7:30am. Before breakfast dives can be arranged, with 2 more dives before lunch, after lunch, and night diving. Verde Island trips, Talapanan and Hibbo Reef trips, our diving is not restricted. We visit all dive zones, and dive teams are kept small.

CLIMATE

From April to September the waters are from 26°C to 30°C (79°F to 86°F) with visibility getting to 30 meters (98 feet). A tropical 3mm wetsuit is suitable. From October to March with water temperatures down to a minimum 22°C (72°F) a 5mm Wetsuit Is more comfortable. Visibility changeable from 15 meters to 30meters during this period.
